The Frankfort Kiwanis Club was founded in October, 1935 as a chartered member of Kiwanis International which has been a premier service and leadership organization since its founding in 1915.

Today, Kiwanis International continues to focus on its role as a "Global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time." This mission statement serves as a source of inspiration and direction for members of the Frankfort Kiwanis Club as we sponsor youth Service Leadership Programs and carry out community service projects
